Easter

Today was a wonderful day! The weather was bad, but we had fun anyway. We got up early and the Easter Bunny had visited our house! Silas had fun opening his eggs and eating his favorite treats and sharing some with the pups. While he was playing with his new beach truck and shovels he started saying "bible" and went over and brought me his board book bible and sat in my lap. We read the Easter story and he sat and listened attentively. It was so sweet. After church we went to Pibby and Pops' house for a big lunch. Silas fell asleep in the car and was not happy when he woke up and hadn't gotten his nap out. It took him a while to wake up fully, but then he was in full swing! Here are some pictures from our weekend.

Oh, and yesterday we woke up and Daddy made caycakes (pancakes) for breakfast. After that we died eggs and Silas really liked stirring the dye. There was an Easter Eggstravaganza at Pibby and Pop's church, so we hit the road to that. It was a big morning! Silas had lots of fun and napped well in the afternoon :-) Easter is fun!
