International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day

Today is the international day of pregnancy and infant loss remembrance.  Tonight at 7pm all families and friends of those who remember their babies will light a candle in remembrance of those precious little souls that we have lost.

As most of you know, my sister lost her precious baby girl in the 37 and 1/2 week of her pregnancy.  Mamie was beautiful and perfect weighing 5 pounds and 12 ounces; born to Sarah and Taylor still.  1 in 160 pregnancies end in stillbirth.  This was so alarming to me when I learned and it is a taboo subject for reasons unknown to me.  Please pray for more education on how to detect problems in pregnancy as well as removing this topic from the "taboo" list of things so many don't want to discuss.
We miss Mamie so much.  She was a loved child of our family and we never want to overlook her in thoughts or conversations.  We have learned to live in a new normal now.  We live with a pain we never expected and God gives us the strength to move forward without Mamie.  Please take time to say a prayer for all who have lost babies today.
