Wow! This week has been a crazy one. I will go ahead and apologize for the novel I am about to write...Looking back now, Monday seems so long ago! Mom and Dad were in London this week, so Silas did have his Tuesday to play with Pibby. Instead we went to story time at the library. It was really fun and we saw Lilly Lewis and Tripp Ipsen there. They read the book If You Give a Moose a Muffin and then we sang some songs and did a craft. After that Silas and I went to The Church at Rock Creek for some more play time before lunch. The Church at Rock Creek has a really neat room with a padded 2-story play area with slides and all kinds of things. They have it separated off with one side for the smaller kids and one side for the big kids. At first Silas was fine with playing in his appropriate area, but when we went back and there were lots of kids he wanted to be right in the middle of all of the big kids! We met Collier Gibbons and Lilly there on Thursday again and there were kids everywhere! Silas would run from me right in to the middle of the action. He would get knocked down and keep running. It was pretty funny!
Wednesday morning we played with some friends up the street. There are 3 little ones (Tavo and Mamie Lee are twins and Lilly is their next door neighbor) all a few months older than Silas who live on Kitty and Uncle Taylor's street. We all got together for dinner on Saturday night and had so much fun that we thought we needed to play more often. Wednesday morning we played at the Rivera's home. It was a good time!
Thursday late afternoon Pibby and Pops returned from London. They called as soon as the airplane touched the ground! They were so ready to see Silas. When they walked in he was stomping his feet and grinning ear to ear. It was hilarious! He then took them all around the house and pointed at all of the Christmas decorations and said "See! See!". After that he drug out some of his toys and showed them to Pibby and Pops as if they had never seen them. They got quite a show!
