Busy Weekend

So, I don't have any pictures to post from this last week. It has been nuts around our house! Last week flew by after having a 3 day weekend and then this past weekend I helped Sarah and Taylor move. Jason stayed at home with little man b/c he (Jason) wasn't feeling well. The movers got all of Sarah and Taylor's big furniture in their new house today, so Silas and I spent most of the day over there helping more. They now live less than 2 minutes from our house. We are thrilled to have them so close! Their house is awesome!

Today Silas got filthy. I think it was the first time he REALLY needed a bath (at least more than just a good face washing). His little knees and the tops of his feet were black from crawling around everywhere. He took a few good tumbles at their house while he was exploring the new space. Nothing seems to slow him down for long though! He is a funny boy. He is keeping us on our toes! We got home around 5:45 and he was starving. He ate a good dinner and then got a good scrub down in the tub. I let him spend some time in the tub now b/c he is so into playing with his bath toys. It is so fun to just sit and watch him. You can see his little mind working. He talks to the toys, holds them under the water, pushes them over the edge of his tub and then reaches over to bring them back in the tub with him all the while bringing them to his mouth for licks every so often during all of this. It is the cutest thing. I hope to get it on video sometime!

Aside from really liking bath time I think Silas just really likes life. He is such a happy boy. When we go in to see him in the morning he greets us with a huge smile. What a way to start the day. Jason and I are having such a wonderful time with him.
