Christmas in Wisconsin

We had a wonderful Christmas with our family in Wisconsin. We left on the Tuesday before Christmas around 6:30 and finally arrived at 12 something. Silas was such a trooper. He fell asleep around 11:30 for the FIRST time during the night and was out. He didn't even wake up when we got off the plane, collected our luggage and got in the car. We got him home and in bed around 2:30 and we were all ready for a good night's rest. We had so much fun seeing family and friends during our stay. There was SO much snow and Silas was able to take a ride on the sled. I'm not sure what he thought about it all, but he didn't complain! Christmas morning he was still recovering from the lack of sleep, but he enjoyed the presents Santa brought. Later that day his cousins (Seth, Olivia and Chloe) arrived and we opened more presents! It was quite a day! Silas really enjoyed tearing into the paper on the packages. We were scheduled to fly out Saturday morning around noon, but when we got up there was fog everywhere. All flights from Madison were canceled (and the earliest flight out was looking like Wednesday morning) so we were bussed to Chicago to catch a later flight. The later flight from Chicago was canceled during our 3 hour bus ride, so when we arrived at O'Hare we checked in to the Hilton. We fought our way through masses of people the next morning and caught our flight home. It was crazy, but we made it home with some time to rest before the week began. Here are some pictures and a video from our trip.
