Week Update

Hi to Everyone! This week has flown by. I can't believe it's Friday. We have had a busy week! Sarah's business is quickly speeding into full wedding season. I spent 2 days with her at the begining of the week working full days, so Silas got to spend 2 full days at Pibby's house. I think they both had a good time ;-). It worked out well for me b/c I was able to get lots of things done at Sarah's that had been piling up. The week has consisted of fussy days and sleepless nights. Silas is full-on teething now. Wednesday night he and I were up from 11-4am. It was a long night and I felt so badly for him b/c he was clearly in pain. I spoke with the nurse yesterday and we started alternating Tylenol and Motrin yesterday afternoon. He had a MUCH better night last night. I actually got to sleep an entire night b/c Jason slept on the couch with the monitor in the room with him! What a husband! It was a much needed night of rest for me and Jason ended up only having to get up once. Hopefully each day will get better for Silas. We still don't see any teeth, but they are just about to break through. I will post pics as soon as it happens!

This morning we missed Jazzercise b/c we slept in a little. Instead Silas and I went on a 3 mile walk with Pibby. It is warming up here! We were sweating by the time we returned home. It is so beautiful today though, it was great to be outside. I think it is going to rain all weekend. Such a bummer! We are giving a shower for Shannon in the morning. She has been one of my dear friends for years. Her baby is due in August. She is having a girl. It should be a fun morning! I will post pics later.

Here are some pictures of last Thursday night. It was the last time I posted b/c we left our camera at our friends' house. I just picked it up this morning, so here you go! The boys in the pictures are Jacob (in light blue) and Jack (in striped pants). They are 2 of Silas' friends from church. They all had a good time pulling hair and licking down all of Jacob's toys. I think Laura (Jacob's mom) had quite a clean up job when we all left!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms reading!
