Lots of Learning

I feel like I am watching Silas' little brain work right in front of me right now. He seems to do something new every day! He is trying to say outside. He says "side!" with lots of inflection at the end of the word. It is the sweetest thing to hear. We have to be careful about when we say it though. He means business when he says, "side". We went side in the rain/sprinkles yesterday because it was said, and I felt bad when he ran to the window and stood there looking out... He uses inflection at the end of many "words" right now. It's like he's constantly asking a question- if we only knew what he was asking!

We took care of Gracie and Gus off and on last weekend and Silas said "Gus" several times. Another new thing he is doing is looking for body parts. He has been looking for his tummy for some time now and will raise our shirts to find ours too. He now knows head and he bangs on his head. He's quite a tough little guy :-). One more thing! He has started making lots of funny sounds and when we mimic him he continues and will run towards us making what ever sound. He has turned into a silly boy. Okay, enough talk about all of his new steps. Just wanted to share what we have been up to!

Below is a video of one of Silas's new favorite pastimes. He knocks down the stacking blocks and then kicks them all over the room! The other video is from earlier today when Kitty came over with her left over Chinese food for lunch. She gave Silas a bite and it was on! He LOVED it! Watch and you will crack up. This video gives you a good idea of what our house is like now. He is quite a little ham!
